Saka Adessoji, with a B.Tech in Pure and Applied Chemistry, has over 10 years of experience as a Journalist. He is also an Organic farmer who follows in the footsteps of his mentor, the renowned Japanese farmer Masanobu Fukuoka, and is strongly influenced by Fukuoka's work "One Straw Revolution." Saka is a proponent of Permaculture, Aquaculture, Hydroponic, Organic farming, Indigenous food/Seed sovereignty enterprises, promoting farmers' liberty to excel in their occupation while promoting biodiversity and protecting the environment.


Saka has a deep passion for organic farming and actively promotes it through various media channels such as radio, television, and newspapers. He has also volunteered with WWOOF Nigeria as a media officer and field inspector, contributing to Nigeria's first efforts to organically certify over 2000 farmers across six states. Saka has authored thought-provoking articles on organic farming techniques that add immense value to the organic farming community, drawing on indigenous intelligence and inspirations from the works of Masanobu Fukuoka.


Saka's dream is to see Africa become home to the largest community of organic farmers in the world. He is an Ambassador of Jamie Oliver's food revolution in Nigeria and the founder of the Nigeria Youth Leadership Initiative Forum (NYLIF). He has also established OrganicEmpire, a storehouse where organic products such as neem oil, Ginger/Garlic pesticides, fungicides, lactobacillus, beneficiary microbes, bio-fertilizer, and more can be sourced.
