Second formulation with neem and oatmeal.
Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of mild liquid soap (such as Castile soap)
  • 1/4 cup of neem oil
  • 1/4 cup of oatmeal
  • 2 cups of warm water

Instructions:

  1. Grind the oatmeal in a food processor or blender until it becomes a fine powder.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oatmeal powder, neem oil, and liquid soap.

  3. Gradually add the warm water to the mixture, stirring constantly to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.

  4. Pour the mixture into a clean, empty bottle or container.

  5. Wet your dog's coat thoroughly with warm water.

  6. Apply the shampoo to your dog's coat and massage it in well.

  7. Rinse your dog's coat thoroughly with warm water.

  8. Dry your dog with a clean towel.

Note: This shampoo can be stored in a cool, dry place for up to one month. Shake well before each use.

Neem oil has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that can help keep your dog's skin healthy, while oatmeal can soothe and moisturize your dog's skin, reducing itching and irritation. The mild liquid soap acts as a gentle cleanser to remove dirt and grime from your dog's coat. This homemade dog shampoo is a natural alternative to store-bought shampoos that may contain harsh chemicals.
