• Vitamin and Mineral Premix: 1 kg (to provide essential vitamins and minerals)

Instructions:

• If you are using a premix containing vitamins and minerals, add it to the mixture and mix well.

• Vitamin and Mineral Premix: 1 kg (to provide essential vitamins and minerals)
• Electrolytes: 1 kg (to aid hydration and balance electrolyte levels)
• Vitamin C: 0.5 kg (to support the immune system and reduce stress)
• Herbs (such as oregano or thyme): 0.5 kg (to improve gut health and reduce heat stress)

Instructions:

• Mix all the dry ingredients thoroughly to ensure a homogenous mixture.
• If you are using a premix containing vitamins and minerals, add it to the mixture and mix well.

Offer the egg-boosting feed supplement as the primary feed to the chickens during periods of heat stress.

Ensure that the chickens have access to clean and fresh water at all times. Consider adding electrolytes to their drinking water to aid hydration and balance electrolyte levels.

Provide shade and proper ventilation in the chicken coop to help reduce heat stress.Observe the chickens closely during hot weather, monitoring their health and egg production. Continue offering the egg-boosting feed supplement until the weather cools down and egg production returns to normal levels.

NOTE: You can use GNC (Groundnut Cake in place of Sunflowers meals) 

Electrolyte formulation for  layers experiencing heat stress:

Ingredients (per 1 liter of water):

• Sodium Bicarbonate: 1.5 grams
• Potassium Chloride (or Black Salt) : 1.0 gram
• Sodium Chloride (Table Salt): 2.5 grams
• Dextrose (Glucose): 20 grams

Instructions:

• Dissolve the sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, and sodium chloride in 1 liter of clean and cool water.

• Add the dextrose (glucose) to the water and mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are completely dissolved.

Give the electrolyte solution to the heat-stressed layers in place of their regular drinking water.

Ensure that the electrolyte solution is fresh and clean at all times, as it is crucial to maintain the birds' hydration during heat stress.

Continue providing the electrolyte solution until the heat stress has subsided and the birds' behavior and performance return to normal.
